1. Meat, poultry and eggs

You can eat meats and eggs freely but try to aim for products coming from animals that are grass fed and pasture raised. It is not only a much Kinder and more ethical way to consume meat products but they are also much higher in nutrients, because of the way the cattle was fed and raised.   At the least, steer clear of meats with preservatives and colour or flavour enhancers, particularly added nitrites, as they can be pretty toxic.
